Yuma’s Unemployment Rate Is Down

Yuma County’s unemployment rate is lower.  KYMA TV says they received a report showing the rate is down to 27.3%, lower from the previous figure of 27.7%. 

Officials say the reason for the recent reduction is an increase in jobs through the winter season.  The statewide unemployment rate is 7.9%
