A $250-million project is facing the Yuma Regional Medical Center. The Yuma Sun is reporting that a project to construct a new and larger Emergency Department has been considered for some time. However to do that, several other less demanding projects will need to be completed first.
The center is looking to construct a state of the art Emergency Center – three times larger than the current facility.
Plans to begin the construction is slated to begin in January 2014 and will take over two years to complete.
