YCAT To Try Out Nextbus Tracking Program

A pilot program starting next week will help bus riders to not wait around for a ride. 

The Yuma Sun is reporting that the Yuma County Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority is launching NextBus on Orange Route S/2A on the Y-CAT system. 

Riders can get information for the next bus in real time on the internet or internet enabled smartphones and tablets. 

The program will launch with a six-month trial allowing the system to be tested.
