The Yuma County Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority is considering a tax. The authority, which operates Yuma County Area Transit, is looking for a one-tenth of a percent tax.

Also, in the past, funding for Y-CAT has been dependent on matching funding from local, state and federal funds.
