Primary Elections In Somerton

It is Primary Election day in Somerton.  Voters will cast their votes in several city races – for mayor and three city council positions. 

Incumbent mayor Martin Porchas is challenged by Vice Mayor Arturo Magana. 

Six candidates have filed to run for the three open city council positions. 

Polls are now open until 7pm at the Somerton Public Safety Building.
