Police Substation Grand Opening Tomorrow

The City of Yuma Police Department is hosting a grand opening ceremony for the new Araby Substation at 6390 East 26^th Street Wednesday afternoon.  This is the city’s first official police substation. 

The Yuma Police Department serves the community around the clock.  Last year the Yuma Police Department responded to over 75,000 calls for service. 

The ceremony will include the posting of colors by the Yuma Police Color Guard, and remarks from local dignitaries.  The event starts at 2pm.
