Police Investigate Yuma’s First Homicide Of 2013

Yuma Police continue to investigate what they say is the year’s first homicide in the city. 

Police say they were called to the First United Methodist Church on Saturday (5) in reference to a body which was discovered at the location on West Third Street.  Following the initial investigation, the incident was termed as a homicide. 

Police have not released the name of the person pending notification of the next of kin, but have confirmed the body is that of a male.
