Cody Beeson

Cody Beeson broadcasts live on AM 560 KBLU every Friday morning starting at 6:00 AM and Saturday at 11:00 AM for Tradio.

The Friday morning show is a combination of nation, state and local political issues. You may also hear discussions on the US Constitution, local events happening in the Yuma community, weird and unusual news that may not have hit the headlines, pop-culture, and anything that is new in technology or just nerdy.

Tradio is where Cody received his first break behind the microphone. This unexpected opportunity laid the foundation for a talk radio journey and was the best crash course in running a solo radio show anyone could ask for. Tradio is where Cody learned the art of multitasking and broadcasting.

Other responsibilities assigned to Cody at El Dorado Broadcasters include morning traffic Monday–Friday for KTTI 95.1, STAR 100.9 and 560 KBLU. Cody also produces Live & Local w/ Russ Clark, Ask the Doctor, and Money Talk radio shows.

When not in the studio in some capacity, Cody’s other responsibilities are that of Promotions Czar at El Dorado Broadcasters. Cody is responsible to plan, schedule and execute the remotes, contests, and special events that makes radio one of the freshest, fun and most exciting media options available today.  

Cody Beeson holds a degree in Recording Engineering from Full Sail University and also owns a small business specializing in audio recording and editing. Cody has been working in the world of professional audio and production for over a decade. 

Since January 2008, Cody Beeson has been serving the City of Yuma as a member of the City Council. His passion for the local community and municipal politics comes across often in his Friday morning radio shows.
