Yuma Scorpions Join the Wear Red Team
After the July 4th game at Desert Sun Stadium, right before the fireworks, Star 100.9 took the field to read the Wear Red Friday story of Little Courtney and the soldier in front of 3,000+, which was followed by the announcement that the Scorpions Baseball Club will offer Free Admission to every Friday Home game to anyone presenting a Military ID. The team will also show their further support for the troops by wearing red socks in place of the usual home black socks.

just to let you know we just opened a new grocery store in coyote wash in wellton and i am encouraging all my employees to wear red on fridays to support our troops where ever they are deployed.god bless america!

Thank all of you for promoting the wear red on Fridays, I have been doing this for some time now. My nephew was killed in Iraq last fall and I don't want anyone who is fighting for us to be forgotten.

Jay well when i was driving to work this morning just like every morning i only get to catch about the first ten minutes of you morning show well this morning when you played that editorial about the little girl and the soldier, there were 4 grown men surrounding my vehicle listening to this and not a one of our eyes were dry.Talk about making grown men cry, and you are right Jay GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!
