National Park Service Releases Report On Government Shutdown Revenue Losses

Officials say the government shutdown cost the Grand Canyon National Park $19 million dollars in lost tourism revenue. The National Park Service released numbers Tuesday that show Arizona's top tourist attraction lost nearly 187,000 visitors between October 1st and October 16th.
Overall, national parks lost a combined 12 million visitors during the shutdown. Officials say that translates to $568 million in lost revenue.
