Matadors Roll Over Scottsdale Community College

The Arizona Western College Matadors started Saturday’s (26) second half contest with Scottsdale Community College with a 19-0 run to blow the game wide open en route to a 76-to-51 victory.

Darien Walker led the way with 22 points in the contest. The game remained close in the first half with Scottsdale actually leading at the break 36-to-34.

The Lady Matadors win by 20 on Saturday (26), 66-to-46. Samanatha Wallace scored 22 points in the victory.

Both teams host Chandler-Gilbert on Wednesday (30). Tip-off for the women is at 5:30pm with the men to follow at 7:30pm here on News Talk 560, KBLU.
