The Arizona Western College basketball teams were able to hold their own against South Mountain College on Saturday (12).
The Lady Matadors were a 70-to-61 winner improving to an overall record of 13 and 5. The men also jumped out to defeat South Mountain College 84-to-72 Saturday (12). The Matadors are 9-and-1 in conference play.
Both teams are to take on Mesa College Wednesday (16). Games tip-off at 5:30pm and can be heard live on News-Talk 560, KBLU.
