Matador Football gets back into Top 10 in latest ‘Dirty 30′ Poll

Mats’ 59-30 win at New Mexico Military Institute Saturday moves them up 3 spots

Yuma, Arizona – November 5, 2012 — Arizona Western College is proud to announce that the Matador Football team is ranked 10th in the latest ‘Dirty 30’ national football poll from JCGridiron.com.  It’s a return to the top 10 in the poll since they were dropped from 4th to 13th last week after suffering their first loss of the season.  The Matadors-whose second-half domination of New Mexico Military Institute resulted in a 59-30 win last Saturday afternoon in Roswell, New Mexico-moved up three spots in this week’s poll.  The Matadors are one of three WSFL teams ranked in the ‘Dirty 30’ this week (Snow College is ranked 13th, Glendale Community College is ranked 28th).  The Matadors finish of f their regular season schedule by hosting the 13th-ranked Badgers this Saturday night, November 10th.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7PM at ‘The Vet’.
