Lady Matador Softball Player Wins Player Of The Week

Arizona Western College is proud to announce that AWC Softball player Courtnie Ploesch (KORT-nee PLOSH (long ‘o’ in last name… rhymes with ‘gauche’) has been named the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference Division One Softball Player of the Week, for the week ending March 2^nd. 

It is the first time that a Lady Matador softball player has earned the ACCAC POW honor since Jessica Soria took home the award in late March of 2011. 

The announcement comes just two days after Ploesch helped the Lady Matadors sweep a home doubleheader against Paradise Valley Community College at the AWC Softball Field Saturday afternoon.
