Giffords To Visit Newton, CT

The Associated Press is reporting that former Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords is expected to visit Newtown, Connecticut where 26 persons were killed last month.

Giffords is also expected to meet with the families and children affected by the December 20^th, 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.  The state’s Lieutenant Governor is also invited. 

There is no word on what time the meeting is expected to take place today (Friday 4).
