Geocachers Hope To Increase Interest In Their Hobby This Weekend

Over 1,000 persons are expected to converge on the area this weekend to help spread the word about Geocaching.  The South Western Arizona Geocachers will hold an event on Saturday at Gateway Park. 

The hope by the group is to expand interest in this hobby.  People are urged to use their GPS devices to gain clues as to where 29 hiding places have been chosen. 

Yuma Mayor Alan Kreiger acknowledged the group during the Yuma City Council Meeting on Wednesday.
