The Yuma Community Food Bank kicked off their 2013 campaign by announcing they hope to raise $1.5 million. The campaign will continue through November. Yuma Community Food Bank President Mike Ivers says there is more needed than just money though.
There are also “Messages of Hope” they are urging people to help spread the word about. Those are personal stories written on paper plates that can be distributed to clubs or persons they may know.
