Fire Department Kept Busy Over The Holidays

The Yuma Fire Department had a busy holiday period.  Details of calls they responded to were released last week.  In the period from December 30^th, 2012 to January 5^th, 249 calls for service, ranging from fires to public assistance issues were answered. 

The fire calls were minor during the holiday period, such as smoke filling a home due to cooking in the oven.
