Suspects In Murder Of Christal Figueroa Appear In Court

Four suspects, who are allegedly involved in the murder of 29-year-old Christal Figueroa last month, appeared in court on Monday.  36-year-old Jeffery Allen Miller is charged with Hindering Prosecution and Tampering or Destroying Evidence with bond set at $150,000.  The accused murderer, 31-year-old Jose Jimenez is charged with First Degree Premeditated Murder and pled not guilty.  24-year-old Brandi Michalski’s attorney ... Border Patrol Apprehends Drug Smugglers

United States Border Patrol agents arrested eight persons who are suspected drug smugglers.  In the three separate arrests, officials recovered 722 pounds of illegal marijuana with an estimated value of over $361,000.  All arrested were Mexican nationals.  Two vehicles were also seized in the arrests.
