Food Recalled After Possible Listeria Contamination

Yuma Takes A Dip In City Index

The latest Milkin Institute’s Best Performing Cities index has lowered Yuma’s rating.  The Yuma Sun reported on Sunday (20) that Yuma went from number 88 in 2011 to number 139 overall for 2012.  The index measures job, wage and technology performance.  Issues noted as to why the rating was lower includes a heavy dependence in the area on agriculture and ... Matadors Defeat Pima College

Brothers To Face Off In Super Bowl 47

Yuma Sheriff’s Dept. Searches For Missing Man

The Yuma County Sheriff’s Department is on the lookout for a missing person.  Police say 82-year-old Laurence J. ”Jack” Doering was last seen on Thursday (16) at the Foothills Shopping Center at South Frontage Road and Foothills Boulevard.  Doering is described as a white male, standing six-foot one-inches and weighing 170 pounds.  He has gray hair and blue eyes.  He ... Yuma’s Unemployment Rate Is Down
