Illegal Alien Accused Of Murder Stopped At U.S. Border

The El Centro Sector Border Patrol says they have arrested an illegal alien accused of murder in the U.S.  The unidentified 41-year-old male was convicted of murder in 1991 and had his Lawfully Admitted Permanent Resident Card revoked and was deported to Mexico in 1995.  He was found going through a Border Patrol checkpoint on Highway 86 Saturday night.  He was ... Brewer Declares An Emergency After Frozen Pipes Cause Water Shortage

Man Arrested For Meth Possession


The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office says one person is in custody after a search warrant was executed at his residence on East 14th Street on Saturday (2).  Police say Jensen Edward Thomas was arrested after they allegedly seized 16 grams of methamphetamine.  Other drug paraphernalia was also found.   Thomas was charged with possession of a dangerous drug for sale, possession ...
