Casa Grande Officer Disciplined For Shocking Prisoner


A Casa Grande Police Department has disciplined one of its employees for electronically shocking a handcuffed and shackled prisoner last year. Officer Thomas Anderson says a Police Department transport officer shocked the prisoner three times on May 28th 2013 when the inmate refused to get into a police van. Arizona House Committee Approves Bill Allowing Classroom Teachers To Have Guns In School


An Arizona House committee has approved a bill allowing classroom teachers to have guns in schools. House Bill 2412 would allow school districts to authorize an unlimited number of teachers and other staff to be armed. Somerton Man Wanted For Drug Trafficking And 14 Year Old Boy Apprehend At San Luis Border


A Somerton man wanted on drug trafficking charges and a 14-year-old boy were apprehended over the weekend by United States Customs and Border Protection officers assigned to the Port of San Luis.
