Bond was set Thursday (10) at $1 million for a convicted felon who's accused of shooting and wounding a Phoenix police officer.
28-year-old Brandon McCabe is being held on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder, misconduct involving weapons, criminal trespassing and resisting arrest.
McCabe allegedly shot Phoenix policeman 36-year-old Peter "Chris" Bennett six times last Sunday night. Bennett survived and is recovering from surgery to his face, right arm and right hip.
