Border Patrol Arrests Smugglers In Cabeza Prieta

Border Patrol agents say they arrested 14 smugglers and seized 452 pounds of marijuana in a wildlife refuge east of Yuma.  The Border Patrol says agents spotted the men carrying large bundles of marijuana on their backs.  The bust took place Wednesday (23) on the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge. Members Of AZ National Guard To Deploy

Gannett To Settle In Disability Discrimination Lawsuit

A federal agency says a media company has agreed to settle a disability discrimination lawsuit involving an Arizona employee for nearly $50,000.  The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission claims Gannett Company Incorporated and Gannett Media Technologies Incorporated unlawfully fired Robin Parker-Garcia after she returned from a medical leave stemming from her bipolar disorder.  In settling the lawsuit, the EEOC says ... AZ Gas Prices Up Slightly
