Police Release More Information On Fetus Found At Somerton Recycling Plant

Two Men Arrested After Trying To Smuggle Marijuana Over The Border


Two men were arrested by Border Patrol agents at the Calexico station on Friday night.  Officials say the two unidentified Mexican Nationals climbed over the border fence near the Imperial Sand Dunes, then tried to hide near Interstate-Eight.  When they were found, officials say the pair were in the alleged possession of two packages of marijuana, valued at over $73,000.  ... Public Invited To Express Opinions On Far West Sewer Rate Increase

Study Shows Increase In Visitor Spending At Grand Canyon National Park


A new study done for the National Park Service shows visitors to the Grand Canyon National Park spent more than $467-million in 2011 and supported nearly 7,400 jobs.  The Michigan State University economic impact study reviewed the spending of visitors to all national parks.
