Arizona Leads The Country In High School dropout rate

Arizona has the highest high school dropout rate of any state in the country. 

The report, released by the U.S. Education Department, shows that 78% of all high school seniors graduate, one of the lowest figures since 1969, when the graduation rate was 79%. 

Mississippi and Washington D.C. both reported high dropout rates at 7% each.
